Labels and new dedicated drawers help us keep like beads together.

offices, our storeroom (read, bead stash) hasn't been able to keep up with the influx of new bead shapes. Our existing organizational system of drawers and trays and bead boxes was simply not set up with these bead options in mind. Sure, we tried to make it work -- we put Tilas with cube beads, for example -- but really, those are two very different animals. Plus, what to do with the half-Tilas?
Associate Editor Connie Whittaker and Editorial Assistant Lora Groszkiewicz have been doing a makeover on our storeroom, creating a new system to organize these bead shapes and whatever new shapes are on the horizon. It's been a major undertaking but so necessary during this explosion of innovation. What about you? Have you had to alter the way you store/organize beads to accommodate all the new shapes out there?
