On the set of a video shoot. This video is on making an invisible join in bead crochet.
Have you ever watched yourself on tape? Ugh. I cringe every time I have to review one of my own videos. Watching myself on camera feels like an out-of-body experience. Do I really talk like that? And why do I smile for no reason? I obviously can't read and bead at the same time, and I simply can't thread a needle on-camera! Oh, but the best was when I stabbed myself with the needle so hard it stuck in my finger (that was edited out). Last week I shot a video on macramé techniques and I discovered every time I was supposed to say “half knot,” I said “half-hitch knot.” Guess what I'm doing today? Reshooting that video.
