CJS Sales: Crafts, Jewelry Supplies (Vintage Warehouse) is proud to sponsor a $5,000 shopping spree to their store in New York City. You can learn more about CJS at www.cjssales.com.
Think back to the August issue -- remember Helen Dahms' story "A jewelry designer's paradise in New York City"? There she described touring three of the most popular bead destinations in NYC's Garment District: York Beads, Elvee Rosenberg, and CJS Sales. Each of these venues is like a warehouse of vintage and rare jewelry supplies. And some of their inventory is still being "discovered" as the owners go through boxes that haven't seen the light of day since Miriam Haskell's time. (Check out the "sampling" of vintage chain above.) Sounds like a dream come true, no?
Well, in a few short weeks, one lucky bead store owner will be living that dream! On p. 12 of our October issue (on newsstands now), we invited you to nominate your favorite local bead shop for a $5,000 shopping spree to CJS Sales (plus a $500 travel voucher). You can nominate any brick-and-mortar store through the end of October -- which is coming soon! -- and we'll randomly select one winner at the beginning of November. Simply go to www.BeadAndButton.com/CJS to make your nomination.
Just imagine all the cool stuff that could be available at YOUR local bead store after their trip to NYC... If you can't quite picture it, make sure to read Helen Dahms' story!
