To make her Old Sorrows pendant, Robyn Krutch carved a honeycomb pattern in wax, then used it to pattern metal clay. A metal clay bee, sculpted over a sterling armature and stained black with oil pigments, rests on beach glass “honey.” Aura 22 gold and a silk kumihimo cord by Jan Pritchard Cohen finish the detailing.
