Looking around our house there are clues to my penchant for all things Zombie. A few buttons from "Shaun of the Dead" are randomly stuck into the studio cork boards near the "how to survive a Zombie attack" poster. Sprinkled through our normal movies are numerous Zombie flicks, including the super cheesy...

You can't Acrylic-enamel on pewter use. Acrylic-enamel must be fired onto the metal-surface at about 750 degree Celsius (~1400 F). Pewter you can only coloring with laquer or colored-resin. because the melting point of pewter is only about 500 degree Celsius (~ 940 F) Edmund www.emailkunst.de

A one of a kind pendant that combine silver, polymer clay, glitter and clear resin. This is a new window world series I have been exploring. I embed the polymer into the piece doing several layers in resin. The piece is then hand sanded and polished. The front of the piece has a clear polished surface...

Hallo, To question
1) That is not the whole truth. You can enamelling: some kinds of steel, copper, some copper
alloys, fine-silver, some silver alloys and gold and some alloys. And under
some circumstances also some other metals. But the classical metals for
jewellery enamelling are copper, silver and...

I have tidied up the lady bug and impressed with how good she's looking. She's yet to be polished, both metal and resin. It's a bit of a pain having to have 2 sets of everything (as the bits I use to polish the metal seem to mark the resin I need to 2 seperate sets), but shouldn't take...

I gave up on the glue, and tried masking tape. Hello !! That worked out a lot better. It did leave a textured look, which I didn't mind. I wanted to know if it could be sanded smooth, the answer - yes. Much prefer tape then the glue. It was a lot esier to tidy up. Plus using a more basic shape probably...

Hi, I'm fairly new to soldering but a very eager student. I did a bit of an experiment. My aim was to create a picture pendant using metal and resin. This is something I want to do really well. I gave it everything I had, and I'm happy with the results (but it could've been better). I was...

I gave the epoxy glue (with plastine around it) a go. Yet to post pics of the finished pieces as I'm still tidying them up & want to attach a cord/chain first. I took lots of along the way photos and posted them at this page . I'm not even sure the glue is essential when using the plastine...

Wasn't it suggested in one of the Art Jewelry projects that Expoxy glue can be used, with a plastic sheet (a clear binding cover). I assume that the glue will need some light sanding to remove that when the resin has set. I've bought some expoxy glue, but yet to try it out. Very keen though,...

Maggie Bergman’s new neighborhood inspired her Brunswick Bracelet . “The shapes of the buildings, the rooflines in particular, were exciting and suggested a bracelet to me, giving me the chance to make up my own skyline.” Bergman combined metal clay, sterling silver, paper, and resin, using both metal...
