I decided to decorate some earring backings - I love the feathers in my hair, and I thought it would be fun to have some that can be easily removed, for those days when I wanted to be a little wilder. They're very easy to make - I've put the directions for making them on my blog .

I've been having fun making bangles lately. I suddenly realized that it's been too long since I've shared anything in here, so here I am, with one of my new bangles, of course: The lampwork is by the talented Melissa Vess. Thanks for looking!

Tomorrow afternoon we're going to my grandmother's 104th birthday party. Although I'm not supposed to bring a gift, my grandmother taught me that sometimes you have to break the rules. After I made this Time Machine bead (designed by Gwen Fisher of beAd Infinitum) I thought, "Grandma...

This is my entry into the Beaded Passion contest. It has seed beads, (10, 11 & 15s) a Shimmerstone focal, glass cabs, and swaros. I used triangular herringbone for the structural bits, RAW and peyote for the cabs and netting as needed. Thanks for looking!

The maille is done with twisted and antiqued brass wire; the lampwork beads are by Melissa Vess . It is highly unlikely that the weave is original to me; but it just sort of came to me, so my apologies to the originator for not giving credit. If anyone knows the name of the weave and the originator,...

I had a little play with sterling silver and fire, and this is the result. The Amethyst is 3mm; the entire pendant is about an inch from top to bottom. It's made from 18 gauge wire that has been shaped, hammered, and soldered. If you like my stories, Splash is on my blog, Jewelry Tales. Thanks for...

Gazillions of seedies, some Czech beads, crystals, and pearls. The barrel shaped bead is my Lagoon Bead , and the rest are variations on Bead Origami's Double Bubble Jacks Beaded Bead . There's a story in my blog , if you're interested. Thanks for looking!

I'm still playing with netting; here's a new one. It uses 11° and 15° seed beads, and the clasp is another of my vintage buttons, this time with a lapis lazuli bead. There's a story in my blog, and tutorials ( bracelet and clasp ) in my Etsy, for anyone who is interested. Thanks for looking...

Made with peridot and 11°, 15°, and 6° seed beads. The clasp is another one of my vintage buttons. This is mostly netting, with a few odd turns and a bit of square stitch. There's a story in my blog, and a tutorial in my Etsy if you're interested in either! Thanks for looking!

This is my second necklace in the Steampunk style; it features lampwork by Melissa Vess and a polymer clay face from Kristie-Lou Brigham . Lots and lots of seed beads, swaros, and fresh water pearls; plus watch parts, of course! If you like my stories, the further adventures of Eugenia can be found on...
