Another new bead shape! Rizo beads!

Have you seen the new Rizo beads? They measure 2.5 x 6 mm and are rice shaped with a hole on one end. They seem to be consistent in size and shape, which will work well with stitching, and the end with the hole is just about the exact same size as an 11/0 seed bead. They're smaller than daggers but bigger than a drop bead — just the right size for any beading project!

I have been in contact with the designer, Sabine Lippert.  So far very few are selling in the US but did say Beadsmith (wholesaler) will soon carry them.  I've purchased one of her patterns for a beaded bead.   Can't wait to design with these.
