*** cancer auction and free beading project

The Bead&Button Show is fast approaching, and as usual, Marlene Vail and her team are planning every detail, including this year's live and silent auctions, which raise money for *** cancer research. *** cancer affects 1 in every 8 women, and since we all know at least eight women, chances are we all know someone who has or will be affected by it. For the past three years, Jeanette Shanigan has coordinated the creation of fabulous beaded quilts that she then donated for our auctions. Each year the quilts have a theme - this year the theme is turtles. Five quilts plus a tote bag arrived here in our offices this week, and they are really great. The staffs of Bead&Button, BeadStyle, and Art Jewelry all gathered around and admired the charming details. Click here to see the quilts and tote bag that will be auctioned off at this year's show.

If you can't come to the Bead&Button Show but want to show your support for finding a cure, you can make donations here. Or, make a *** cancer awareness angel designed by Elizabeth Pullan. Make it into a pin or a pendant, and wear it with pride!
