Thank you to all of our customers for your support throughout the year!
Thank you to our subscribers — our frequent Bead&Button buyers. Like a good job and a paycheck, advance sales help us know what we can offer to you during the year. While we put all the material into print that our page-count formula (based on projected revenue and expenses) allows, subscriptions also help pay for extra online bonus material that could not otherwise be produced.
Shop and newsstand magazine-buyers are also essential to Bead&Button. Without you, we couldn’t publish as many articles, buy as many projects, employ as many people, and keep as many lights on. You keep us on our toes, as you cast your consumer “vote” for every issue of Bead&Button. And when you take our online surveys, you provide us with information about your preferences. You are every bit as important to Bead&Button as our subscribers.
Because our newsstand buyers are so vital, we’ve made sure that our online magazine-issue extras are free and accessible to everyone on BeadAndButton.com. Even if you only buy one issue of the magazine, you receive the information you need to make the projects and the online material that goes with that particular issue in our Resource Guide. Also, for every free subscriber project we post online each month, we post another free project for everyone. I encourage you to register on our Web site — it's free and gives you access to more online material than you receive as a general visitor. While you're there, sign up for our free e-newsletter and get announcements and more free stuff!
We also have mutually beneficial relationships with our advertisers, shop owners, and Bead&Button Show instructors and exhibitors. These important customers look to us to help their enterprises prosper. The healthier they are, the more products and services they can offer to you. Our advertisers allow us to offer the magazine for an affordable price and provide information about the products you want and need. Retailers are friends to us all, as they enable us to shop and learn locally, and supply us with materials, tools and resources. We appreciate this support, which enables us to offer you as much as possible.
In closing, I wish you all the best in 2009. Peace and prosperity to you and your family.

I really wish that all you had to do to take advantage of all the projects offered on-line would be to purchase the magazine at our local bead shop. By doing so, you support both the magazine publisher AND our LOCAL bead shops. Shopping local is so important to the small bead shops.
