Quinceañera jewelry

In some places where a girl's Quince Años (15 years) is celebrated, jewelry is given as a gift to the girl of honor. Tiaras, bracelets, rings, and earrings are among the gifts given. In 2009, Bead&Button magazine is celebrating its Quince Años! We'd love to see photographs of the Quinceañera beaded jewelry that family members and friends have made for their special girls celebrating Quince Años. Send your photos to editor@BeadAndButton.com. In addition to the girls wearing the beaded jewelry, we'd like to see close-up photos of the jewelry on plain backgrounds. If you send a photo, include the name of the person/designer who created the jewelry, the girl's first name only, her 15th birthday date, and the state (or province) and country where she lives. We'll see how many we receive and decide how to post them.

The Arabesque bracelet pictured here is designed by Joanie Jenniges and appeared in the June 2006 issue of Bead&Button. It is available in the projects section of BeadAndButton.com.
