It's that time again: holidays, family, and never having
enough time to finish projects. I find that, at this time of the year, most of
my projects (that aren't presents for other people) get bumped to the "New
Year's Resolution" pile. I know I do it far more often than I should, but I've
kind of gotten used to it. I guess I just lose enthusiasm around this time;
maybe it's that constant ticking countdown of "you have to do this, this, and
this before this time" that gets so frustrating and makes me less inclined to
try to complete creative projects. Frankly, I don't feel creative, I feel
rushed.
Does anyone else have this problem, and if so, what do you
do to overcome it?

I do have that problem, and I don't have a solution. This year, I took all the little bits of an old project and pulled them together. Now I have cleaned up one project and all the stuff that goes with it. I guess the short answer is to finish old projects and save the "new" creativity for 2013. Aim for a sense of accomplishment.
